This part of GB/T 25122 specifies the service conditions，system structure，general characteristics，technical requirements，test methods，test rules，marking，packaging，transport and storage of traction converters for EMU.
This part is applicable to traction converter for EMU(hereinafter referred to as “converter”)，and may be referred by other converters with similar purposes.
This part is not applicable to converter for urban rail vehicle.
