【国外标准】 Standard Specification for Styrene-Butadiene Sheeting (Withdrawn 2009)

This specification covers styrene-butadiene sheeting in thicknesses of 0.25 mm [0.01 in.] and greater. Sheeting conforming to this specification is intended for use in instrument housings and applications requiring resistance to impact. Methods of fabrication may require that the sheet be drawn or bent. The styrene-butadiene sheeting is classified by type as follows: type I - low shrinkage, type II - intermediate shrinkage, and type III - high shrinkage. The styrene-butadiene sheeting is further divided into classes and sizes as follows: class 1 - natural, class 2 - as specified by user, size A - 0.5 by 1 m, and size B - as specified by user. The impact strength, Vicat softening temperature, flow rate, and tensile stress at yield of the material shall be tested to meet the requirements specified. The orientation, and warpage or twist shall be tested to meet the requirements prescribed.1.1 This specification covers styrene-butadiene sheeting in thicknesses of 0.25 mm (0.01 in.) and greater.
