This standard specifies the general conditions and requirements in container storage area in port (hereafter referred to as container storage area)，as well as operation and safe requirements of stacking and unstacking in the container storage area，traveling of handling facilities and vehicles，countermeasures against disastrous weather，etc.
This standard is applicable to container storage area in port，and can be reference for external container storage area specially designed for the port to store containers.
This standard is not applicable to operations of dangerous goods containers，nor the packing/unpacking operations of containers.
