This specification covers vapor-degreasing grade methylene chloride. Vapor-degreasing grade methylene chloride shall be subjected to different tests so as to determine properties such as specific gravity, distillation range at initial boiling point, distillation range at dry point, acidity, water content, appearance, color, nonvolatile residue, and acid acceptance.1.1 This specification covers vapor-degreasing grade methylene chloride.1.2 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as standard.
